Metal inflation in the Middle Ages.
Inflation has different forms, but means reduced purchasing power and the power of money. Moreover, inflation shows a rise in prices.
In Medieval always the metal money been a weight fall or reduction of the precious metal of coins\ingots. The original fund all government could issue more money, but less weight or purchasing power.
However, while prices in nominal terms have not changed, but silver\gold had to pay for the goods anymore. The authorities deliberately used the properties of metals and controlled weight loss. If the rate of decline has increased, so it has been the economic crisis and the government tried to solve the problem of growth.
Metallic inflation is the first inflation on monetary form, due to the fall weight money, when this fall caused a rise in prices of goods for the metal.
